BevNET is pleased to announce the launch of Taste Radio Insider, a new podcast focused on news, trends and innovation in the business of food and beverage. Taste Radio Insider will feature interviews with the industry’s movers and shakers and feature discussion of emerging trends, innovation and news of the week from our regular cadre of hosts from the BevNET and NOSH teams.
The addition of Taste Radio Insider creates opportunities to extend our long-form interviews with food and beverage tastemakers and innovators in our flagship Taste Radio podcast. That means a deeper dive into how they built their companies and an exploration of what life was like during the ups and downs of building a business.
The debut episode of Taste Radio Insider will premiere on Friday, Sept. 28. Episode 1 features an interview with Eugene Kang, the co-founder and CEO of fast-growing jerky brand Country Archer. As part of our discussion, Kang explained how rejection at a buyer meeting spurred a partnership that has since paid huge dividends for the brand. We also sat down with BevNET assistant editor Marty Caballero, who discussed trends and innovation in notable beverage categories, including RTD coffee and alt-dairy, as viewed through the lens of Expo East 2018.
New episodes will be published every Friday. Upcoming episodes include interviews with Matt McLean, the founder of organic beverage brand Uncle Matt’s; Jon Sebastiani, the founder of Krave Jerky and Sonoma Brands, a consumer products incubator and venture fund; and David Yeung, the CEO of environmental-focused private equity fund Green Monday.
Catch these interviews and much more on Taste Radio Insider, which will be available for streaming and download on iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher, Google Play and Soundcloud. As always, for questions, comments, ideas for future podcasts, please send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
